Privacy Policy.
Short version: we collect what we need to run your service, we don't sell your information, and we don't do anything sneaky with it. The long version is below.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how Stoopari LLC (“Stoopari,” “we,” “us”) handles information from anyone who visits our website or signs up for our service. If you're a customer, a visitor just browsing, or someone who filled out a form, this is about you.
2. What we collect
When you sign up or get in touch, we collect what you give us directly: your name, your business name, email address, phone number, and the city your business is in. If you become a customer, we also keep records of which platforms you picked, which add-ons you have, and notes our Stoopkeepers take to do your work well.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. When you pay, that happens through Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles your card information directly. We only see that a payment succeeded or failed, never the card number itself.
When you visit the website, we automatically collect basic technical information most websites collect: your browser type, your general location (city or region, from your IP address), which pages you looked at, and how you got here. This helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
3. How we use it
We use your information to do the job you hired us for: create and schedule your posts, manage your Google Business Profile, visit your business, send you reports, and answer the phone when you call. We use your email and phone to communicate with you about your account. We use website data to make the site better.
That's it. We don't use your information to build a profile of you for advertising. We don't analyze it for purposes you wouldn't expect.
4. What we never do
We never sell your personal information. We never rent it. We never trade it. If that ever changes, which we do not anticipate, we would tell you first and give you a clear way to say no.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we need to actually run Stoopari, and only the minimum they need. That includes Stripe (to process your payments), our scheduling tools (to publish your posts), the social media platforms themselves (to post on your behalf), and basic business tools like email and cloud storage.
Each of those companies has its own privacy practices. We pick reputable ones, but we don't control them. We may also share information if the law requires it, for example a valid subpoena, or to protect Stoopari, our customers, or the public from harm.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies, small files your browser stores, to keep the site working and to understand how people use it. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do. We do not use cookies to follow you around the internet or to serve you ads.
7. How long we keep it
While you're a customer, we keep your information so we can do your work. After you cancel, we keep what we need for legitimate business and legal reasons, things like tax records and accounting, for as long as the law requires, and then we delete it. If you want your information removed sooner, ask us, and we'll do what we can within what the law allows.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what information we have about you. You can ask us to correct it if it's wrong. You can ask us to delete it, subject to the legal limits above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. To exercise any of these, just email us. We won't make it hard, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
9. Keeping it safe
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and using services that take security seriously. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise the impossible, but we take this seriously and we don't collect more than we need in the first place.
10. Children
Stoopari is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your information, we'll update this page and, if you're a customer, email you about it. The “last updated” date at the top tells you when the current version took effect.
12. Getting in touch
Questions about your privacy, or want to exercise any of the rights above? Email stoopkeepers@stoopari.com or call (256) 808-9639. A real person will help you.
